Welcome to an exciting journey across three magnificent European cities: Madrid, Paris, and Copenhagen. Each city has its unique charm, history, and hidden gems waiting to be explored. Whether you’re a history buff, a foodie, or an art lover, this travel guide is designed to help you experience the best of each destination. Let’s dive into what makes these cities so special, watch here:

Here you will find a first overview, inspiration and hotel recommendations for your trip:

Madrid

Madrid - City Center
Madrid is a vibrant city that is bursting with life and culture. From its stunning architecture to its lively streets, relaxing parks and delicious rooftop bars, there’s so much to see and do. The city is not just about the famous "Dos de mayo" celebrations; it offers a plethora of experiences every single day of the year.

The city center is packed with museums, cafes, and delicious churros. You can stroll through the bustling Shopping District on Gran Via or explore the culinary delights at food markets like the Mercado de San Miguel. However, there’s another city with an even better food market, which we’ll discuss later.

Madrid Parque del Retiro

Madrid - Best Parks to Relax

Madrid also has beautiful parks that provide a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The most famous is the Parque del Retiro, a green oasis where you can hire a boat for a short trip on the lake.

For those seeking more adventure, visit the Parque Warner, an amusement park located near Madrid, perfect for thrill-seekers. We have more information about this park in a separate video.

Madrid - Getting Around

Getting around Madrid is a breeze. Many attractions are within walking distance, and you can find plenty of taxis and rental bikes. A particularly useful option is the Tarjeta Multi, which you can purchase from vending machines. Load it with a Metrobus 10-Journey ticket for just € 6.10, and it can be used by multiple people. This card is valid for city buses and the metro, making it a cost-effective choice. For airport transfers, the express bus costs € 5.

Madrid - Museums

If you’re a museum enthusiast, you’ll be happy to know that the Museo Reina Sofia offers free admission from 7 PM to 9 PM, except on Tuesdays and Sundays. Just be prepared for long queues!

Another option is the Caixa Forum, which charges only € 6 for entry.
